Are there thrift stores near Keflavík Airport?

Yes, in Reykjanesbær: Hertex, a Red Cross shop, Fjölskylduhjálp Íslands and Fjölsmiðjan, and the rent-a-shelf shop Víkurbásar in Njarðvík. Some of their details are unverified, so check before you go.

Are there thrift stores outside Reykjavík?

Yes. Akureyri has several, and there are stores in Selfoss, Reykjanesbær, Egilsstaðir and many small towns. Outside the capital many are open only a few days a week, and some only in summer.

What does "unverified" mean?

We couldn't find a reliable source, or sources disagree. Call or check the store's Facebook page before making a trip.
